From Active Ingredient to Performance Medicine

Crystec’s mSAS® technology can be applied across a range of molecule classes (e.g. small molecules, biotherapeutics, natural products and mixtures). For natural products and difficult to crystallise materials, a key advantage of mSAS® is the ability to rapidly extract residual solvents and impurities, resulting in dry, free flowing powders, often with enhanced physical and chemical stability.

mSAS® Particle Engineering vs. Conventional Micronisation

mSAS® particles are generated using a single-step, ‘bottom-up’ process, providing uniform particles with smooth, low energy surfaces, ultimately enabling the development of free-flowing powders that are less cohesive than their micronised equivalents.
